Meet the
Murphy
Family

DREAM with us.

We are Itanna and Yosafe Murphy, a Pacific Northwest based family and Co-Founders of SHEBA.

We own 150-acres in Oregon's beautiful Willamette Valley, including agricultural farmland, wetlands and woodlands. We want to use SHEBA Farm to help our people and planet

Together with our kids -- and a

HUGE amount of experts -- we are

working on an agrivoltaics project

to bring a holistic farm experience to the local community and beyond.

What is
SHEBA
Farm?

RESTORE and CREATE with us.

Our farm is located on land that once belonged to Kalapuya people, now part of the Confederated Tribe of the Siletz and Confederate Tribes of the Grand Ronde Community of Oregon.

We hope to learn from and incorporate traditional farming practices as we uplift and empower our communities.

VertueLab

SHEBA participated in programs from this PNW organization, focused on environmental justice and the CleanTech industry. We joined cohorts in Portland and Seattle for 45Camp JumpStart and Pre-Accelerator programs. We appreciate the care and look forward to future guidance and mentorship!

Oregon State University

SHEBA Farm is located just 30 miles south of OSU's main campus, including the College of Agricultural Sciences in Corvallis, Oregon. Because of this partnership, SHEBA can now participate in NREL's C2C Agrivoltaic Cohort, beginning this summer. Many thanks to

Dr. Chad Higgins and Allan Branscomb. (Fun fact: Itanna is also an OSU graduate!)

National Renewable Energy Lab

SHEBA applied to NREL's Clean Energy to Communities (C2C) program, where we received invaluable technical assistance from world-class leaders in the agrivoltaics and farming scene. NREL is helping contribute to the renewable energy transition. We could not pursue our agrivoltaic dream without NREL's expertise.
